Description	:	Raymond Arthur Bradish, 89 of South Sioux City passed Wednesday May 11, 2016 at the home of his daughter in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Services will be 10:30 A.M. Monday at St. Michael Catholic Church in South Sioux City with the Rev. Paul Albenesius officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael Cemetery. Visitation will be from at Becker – Hunt Funeral Home from 4 to 8 P.M. Sunday, with a Scriptural Wake Service at 7 P.M. followed with a military flag presentation by the American Legion Post 376. Raymond was born January 12, 1927 in Sioux City the son of Albert L. and Aletha F. (Brown) Bradish. He graduated from Jackson, Nebraska High School. He served in the U.S. Army from July 16, 1945 until January 21, 1946. He was honorably discharged and received the W.W. II Victory Medal. Raymond married Moncia R. Frank May 1, 1948 in South Sioux City. He was employed as an engineer with the Chicago Northwestern Railroad. When he retired from the railroad, he then owned and trained thoroughbred race horses. He then enjoyed and lived the good life. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and American Legion Post 376 in South Sioux City, Nebraska. Survivors include two daughters and their husbands: Sheila M. and Raymond Paulus of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Pam and Harold Andersen of Dakota City, Nebraska, a son and his wife Raymond Alan and Mary Bradish of Omaha, Nebraska, a brother Bill Bradish of South Sioux City, Nebraska, a sister Doris Knutson of Jackson, Nebraska, 14 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Monica, September 10, 2002, two brothers: Tommy (an infant) and Norman. Pallbearers will be grandchildren: Jason Andersen, Clint Wilen, Patrick Paulus, Alex Bradish, Dan Wilen and Chad Andersen.
