Description	:	Raymond "Buddy" Ernest Collier 1936 - 2015 AUGUSTA - Raymond "Buddy" Ernest Collier died peacefully at the Togus VA Hospice Home in Augusta on Nov. 26, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born on Dec. 17, 1936 in Oakland. He graduated from Williams High School in 1954. He served two years in the army following high school. Read More	Raymond "Buddy" Ernest Collier 1936 - 2015 AUGUSTA - Raymond "Buddy" Ernest Collier died peacefully at the Togus VA Hospice Home in Augusta on Nov. 26, 2015 surrounded by his family. He was born on Dec. 17, 1936 in Oakland. He graduated from Williams High School in 1954. He served two years in the army following high school. He came home and married his high school sweetheart of 58 years. He worked in Cutler as an iron worker, than on under ground missiles in Montana and Missouri. He worked as a millwright at Scott Paper Company for 32 years. He retired at 57. He was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt, fish, travel and watch his children and grandchildren play sports. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Oakland and was a member of the Elks Lodge #905 in Waterville. He is survived by his wife, Elaine; his sons, Raymond "Chad" and wife, Lauralei, Flint and wife, Susan, Nathan and wife, Terri, Cord and wife, Frannie, and daughter, Debra Smith and husband, Terry; many grandchildren, Paige, Joseph and wife Julie, Kahlie and husband Josh, Lucas and wife Kristen, Jaimie, Mathew, Jennifer, Kailyn and husband Joe, Jake, Carson, Meaghan, Alei, Nikki, Delaney, Abby and Cassie; his great-grandchildren, Madelyn, Gunner, Aiden, Aubriella, Gabriella, Remy, Emilyn, and Lydia; his brother Dale and wife, Bernie, David and wife, Bonnie and a brother-in-law, George Leighton; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Victor, mother, Glendoris; and sister, Adoreeann Leighton. At his request there will be no services. We will have a gathering at the Collier Cemetary in the Spring. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to: Togus VA Hospice Care Unit 1 VA Center (171) Augusta, ME 04330 in memory of Buddy Collier
