Description	:	He was the son of Frank and Elizabeth Becker Wehr. He attended the Sigourney schools. On May 22, 1937 he was married to Lucie Krueger in Oskaloosa. They lived all their married life in Sigourney. He entered the United States Navy on March 24, 1944 and served until October 15, 1945, serving part of this time overseas. Survivors include his wife Lucie; two sons Kenneth Wehr and Russell Wehr; two daughters, Mrs. James (Judy) Fairchild and Mrs. Roger (Janet) Wilcox; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Elizabeth Wehr and his sister, Mrs. Geneva Gilliland.
