Description	:	Raymond J. Bolin BOLIN Raymond J. Bolin, age 88, of California, Mo., passed away Friday, May 23, 2008, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born March 3, 1920, in McGirk, Mo., the son of Harry Truman and Rachel Shull Bolin, who preceded him in death. On May 12, 1935, he was married to Helen Pummill, who died in 1982. Read More	Raymond J. Bolin BOLIN Raymond J. Bolin, age 88, of California, Mo., passed away Friday, May 23, 2008, at St. Mary's Health Center in Jefferson City, Mo. He was born March 3, 1920, in McGirk, Mo., the son of Harry Truman and Rachel Shull Bolin, who preceded him in death. On May 12, 1935, he was married to Helen Pummill, who died in 1982. He was married to Lois Rosecrans in 1983 who survives of the home. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy Air Force for 38 months (1942-1945) as an instructor in simulated flight and navigation. Mr. Bolin was formerly Plant Superintendent of Moniteau Mills which manufactured woolen cloth. In 1954, he went to work for the Missouri State Highway Department serving as District Right-of-Way Agent in Jefferson City and St. Louis. In 1962, he was employed by the Federal Highway Administration working in Pennsylvania, Massachusetts, Michigan and Washington D.C. At the time of his retirement in 1980, he was the Regional Director of the Office of Right-of-Way in the Federal Highway Administration in Chicago. Mr. Bolin was a Deacon and member of the First Baptist Church in California, Senior Past Master and a 60 year member of California Lodge #187 AF & AM, Past High Priest of Royal Arch Lodge #58, Past Secretary of the California Country Club, a 20-year member of the Board of Director and past Secretary/Treasurer of the Masonic Cemetery Association, Past President of the Twenty Club, member and Past President of the Board of Directors of the Central Missouri Area Agency on Aging (20 years), Past President of the Moniteau County Nutrition Center, a charter member of the local Kiwanis Club and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees. Before his retirement, he was active as a member of the American Right-of-Way Association, Society of Real Estate Appraisers, and the American Association of Highway Officials. Other survivors include: one daughter, Donna Rae Kinsaul of Jefferson City, Mo.; one sister, Ruth Wells of California, Mo.; two step- children, Charles Rosecrans of Huntsville, Ala., and Karen Orlando of Wichita, Kan.; two grandsons, Austin Konrad and Nathan Kinsaul; five step- grandchildren, Shay Rosecrans, Trent Rosecrans, Joshua Morris, Kalyn Ebadifar, and Ross Orlando; and five step- great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one sister, Trella Clennin; two brothers, Harold Bolin and Jewel Bolin; and two infant sisters. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 27, 2008, at 10 a.m. at Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Services, California, Mo. Officiating will be Rev. Greg Morrow. Inurnment will be in the Masonic Cemetery, California, Mo. at a later date. Visitation will be on Monday, May 26, 2008 from 5-7 p.m. at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 7 p.m. Memorials are suggested to the California Nutrition Center Meals-On-Wheels, 107 W. Versailles, California, MO 65018. Arrangements are under the direction of Bowlin-Cantriel Funeral Service in California, Mo.
