He was united in marriage to Ruth G. Daugherty on December 17, 1931 at Garnett, Kansas. Raymond was a resident of Wayne County his entire life. Read More	Raymond Kenneth Stroud, eldest son of Lute and Alta Allen Stroud was born on February 18, 1908 in Wayne County, Iowa and departed this life at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon on March 27, 1975 at the age of 67 years, 1 month, and 9 days. He was united in marriage to Ruth G. Daugherty on December 17, 1931 at Garnett, Kansas. Raymond was a resident of Wayne County his entire life. He worked on construction work as long as his health permitted. He was preceded in death by five brothers: Paul, Cleo, Allen, Weldon, and Wayne. He leaves to mourn his passing his loving and devoted wife Ruth, his parents Mr. and Mrs. L.W. Stroud and one sister, Mrs. Thelma Gillman all of Allerton. Also a host of other relatives and friends. He will be greatly missed by all. Services were held on Sunday, March 30, 1975 at 2:00 P.M. from the Randolph Funeral Home in Allerton with the Rev. Ray Swearingin officiating. Hymns were sung by Mrs. Wilbur Langloss, soloist, and Mrs. Carl Ruark, pianist. The pallbearers were: Carl Ruark, Gary Sheets, Max McCarty, Leo Halfhill, J.H. Marcusson, and Vernon Niday. .
