Jensen, the son of Alfred C. and Sallie (Timmons) Jensen, was born at Marquette, Nebraska on July 23, 1922 and died at Aurora, Nebraska on January 21, 1977 following a short illness at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 28 days. Jensen, the son of Alfred C. and Sallie (Timmons) Jensen, was born at Marquette, Nebraska on July 23, 1922 and died at Aurora, Nebraska on January 21, 1977 following a short illness at the age of 54 years, 5 months and 28 days. Most of his lifetime was spent in Hamilton County, where he received his education and graduated from Hordville High School in 1941. Most of his lifetime he was engaged in farming. On November 29, 1944 he was united in marriage to Zelma Cranstone at Clay Center, Nebraska. They farmed in Merrick County for two years and then moved to a farm near Stockham. Later they farmed near Marquette and Hordville. At the time of his death they were residing on a farm east of Hordville. He was preceded in death by his father and one sister, Irene Jensen, both of whom died in December of 1939. His survivors include his wife, Zelma; one son, Ronald of Lexington, Nebraska; one daughter, Mrs. Connie Person of Hordville; his mother, Mrs. Sallie Jensen of Aurora; three brothers, Glenn and Oliver Jenson both of Central City and Earl Jensen of Hampton; two sisters, Mrs. Elna Bond of Seldovia, Alaska and Mrs. Marian Kroeker of Kearney, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Heather and Jared Jensen; several nieces and nephews and other relatives and many close friends who will all cherish his memory.
