He was born April 10, 1945 to Theodore and Bertha Lowe Myers in Chariton, IA and was adopted shortly after by Harley and Dorothy Crall Myers. Dick married Barbara Colleen Lynch on October 24, 1992. Dick had farmed before 1980 and since then had worked at Tenco and Ottumwa Courier. He was a member of Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Dick is survived by his wife, Barbara; a sister, Bonnie (Jerry) Miller of Olathe, KS; nieces and nephews; special care givers, Tamy Anderson and April Cornell. He was preceded in death by his parents; four sisters, Mary Cook, Beulah Payne, Helen Black, Frances Watts and an infant brother, Frankie Myers. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Monday at Trinity Church of the Nazarene. Cremation will follow the services. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at 10 a.m. Sunday at Reece Funeral Home with the family present from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Trinity Church of the Nazarene or New Horizon Ranch.
