Description	:	Funeral services for Raymond W. Farr, 56, of Hastings, a former Creighton resident, will be held Thursday, July 16, at Zion Lutheran Church in Creighton. Rev. Paul Banitt will officiate and burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery. Raymond Farr was born May 23, 1925 at Hastings to Frederick and Bertha (Abel) Farr. He died July 12, 1981 at Tacoma, Wash. As a youth he attended Hastings schools. On March 30, 1948 he married Barbara Moore. They lived in Lincoln until 1963 when they moved to Creighton. He has lived in Hastings for the past five years. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars in Lincoln, Creighton and Hastings and also the Eagles at Hastings. Mr. Farr is survived by his wife, Barbara of Creighton; three daughters, Mrs. Everett (Sharon) Braun of Creighton, Mrs. Larry (Mary) Yeager of Rota, Spain, Mrs. Dwain (Carol) Stacken of Orchard; a son, Richard of Pasadena, Tex.; two sisters, Mrs. Helen Stepp of Tacoma, Wash., Mrs. Dorothy Steepelton of Hastings and 10 grandchildren.
