Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, August 8, at the Faith Lutheran Church, Andover. The Rev. Tim Wiggins will officiate. Memorials may be given to the Faith Lutheran Church or Mercy Hospice. Raymond was born March 3, 1924, in rural Clinton County, Iowa, the son of Frank and Josephine (Bormann) Krogmann. He married Joyce Ronnfeldt on Oct. 27, 1949, in Clinton. He farmed on the family farm in rural Andover since 1950. He was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church in Andover, where he was a former church council member and usher. He was a member of the Clinton Moose Lodge 363, Andover Lions Club, and Clinton County Farm Bureau, and was a retired Andover Volunteer Fireman. He enjoyed card playing, bowling, dancing, and golfing. Raymond is survived by his wife, Joyce, of Andover; three sons, Randall (Marcia) Krogmann and Russell (Jodie) Krogmann, both of Clinton, and Richard (Kathy) Krogmann, of DeWitt, Iowa; three daughters, Jane Krogmann, of Des Moines, Iowa, June Krogmann, of Arlington Heights, Illinois, and Jill Krogmann, of Des Moines, Iowa; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, Steven, John, Anna, Sarah, Alexis, and Kayla; three brothers, Clarence (Mardella) Krogman, Lester (Betty) Krogmann, and Arnold (Mary) Krogmann, all of Clinton; a sister, Dorothy Petersen, of Fulton, Illinois; a brother-in-law, Byrl Swanson, of Clinton; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, twin granddaughters, Heidi and Heather, and a sister, Irene.
