Raymond was born on October 13th, 1927 in OKreek SD, to Peter and Mary (Evans) Totton. He grew up and attended the North Curlew Township School and later finished his schooling in Witten, SD and graduated in 1946. After graduating he was employed at the Witten Grain Elevator. Read More	From Mason Funeral Home Web Site: Raymond William Totton, age 81, of Winner, SD, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2009 at the Winner Regional Health Care Center Long Term Care Facility. Raymond was born on October 13th, 1927 in OKreek SD, to Peter and Mary (Evans) Totton. He grew up and attended the North Curlew Township School and later finished his schooling in Witten, SD and graduated in 1946. After graduating he was employed at the Witten Grain Elevator. Four years later Raymond came upon a picture of Helen Woolhiser and asked his friend who the pretty girl was in the picture. He told him and Raymond said, Im going to marry that girl. Six months later, on July 19th, 1950 Raymond and Helen were married. Their first years together were met with several moves. Raymond and his family lived in such places as Witten, Colome, Gregory, Bonesteel, Mitchell and Rangley Colorado. In 1967 they moved from Gregory to Winner, SD where they have remained all of their lives. In 1970 Raymond took steps in becoming a TV Repairman. He attended Black Hills Area Vocational Technical School and graduated that same year. Raymond opened a repair and sales shop which became known as Custom TV. After 15 rewarding years Raymond was forced to close his business due to his health. After his retirement he was able to enjoy his favorite hobbies... hunting and fishing. When Raymond's health deteriorated he moved into the Elder Inn and lived there for a short period before going to the Winner Regional Health Care Center Long Term Care Facility. Survivors include his wife Helen of 58 years Winner SD; Sister Betty Lou (Kenny) Tuttle of Witten SD; sons, Glenn (Lorraine) of Madison SD; John (Dianne) of Winner SD; Tim (Kathy) of Hartford, SD; daughters LoLeta of Winner SD; Lori (Corey) Maunu of Sioux Falls, SD; 14 Grandchildren and 11 Great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Raymond was preceded in death by his parents Peter and Mary; Infant twin daughters Judy and Jane, two brothers Gerald and James. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Monday, January 26 at Christ Lutheran Church in Winner.
