Reason Mitchell Davis married Eleanor Abigail Morgan (1767 SC - 1816 NC) the daughter of Maj. Spenser Morgan and Frances (Nuckels) Morgan. Reason and Eleanor married in 1782 in Newberry, South Carolina. Reason Mitchell Davis married Elizabeth "Betty" Reader (1767 SC -1831) daughter of Rev. William Reeder and Mary (Cole) Reeder.
