She was a poultry farmer, cooked at De Queen Manor Nursing Center, and was a Baptist. She enjoyed crocheting, canning, gardening, listening to gospel music and watching John Hagee on TV. Mrs. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Ivanora White McIntyre; one son, Doyle Ruth; three brothers, Lee Floyd McIntyre, Dee Loyd McIntyre and LV McIntyre and infant brother, William Vernon McIntyre. Roberts and wife Linda of Spokane, Washington, Melvin Ruth of Horatio, Arkansas and Vernon Ruth of Gillham, Arkansas; one sister, Lavern Runnels and husband, Ray of Lockesburg and a number of grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and a host of friends and relatives. Funeral Services for Mrs. Ruth will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, March 1, 2013 in the Old Union Missionary Baptist Church in Lockesburg with Rev. Wesley Blankenship and Larry Davis officiating. Burial will follow in the Old Union Cemetery, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home in De Queen.
