After living her life in Vernon, Clinton County, Ohio, by 1900 she was living with her widowed daughter, Anne/Anna Cliver, in Penn, Highland County, Ohio. She has not been found in the 1910 Census. Both Anna and her husband were buried here. Rebecca Ann Austin married Joseph Miller in 1832 in Clinton County. They are found in the 1840 Census there. After living her life in Vernon, Clinton County, Ohio, by 1900 she was living with her widowed daughter, Anne/Anna Cliver, in Penn, Highland County, Ohio. She has not been found in the 1910 Census. Both Anna and her husband were buried here. Rebecca Ann Austin married Joseph Miller in 1832 in Clinton County. They are found in the 1840 Census there. Joseph Miller appears to have died between the birth of their last child in 1843 and the 1850 Census in which Rebecca is found with her five children: Mary b. 1834; Martha b. 1836; Anne b. 1838; Sarah b. 1840; and David b. 1843. In 1860 she is living with her children Anne, Sarah, and David. In 1870 and 1880, she was living with her son David and his family. David appears to have died by 1900. He and his wife are not found in the 1900 Census, but his wife Elizabeth reappears in Vernon in 1910 as a widow. As noted, by 1900, she was living with daughter Anne/Anna and her family. In 1876, she, her sister Mary Austin (who married a cousin), her sister Susan Burget, and her sister-in-law Elizabeth Austin, visited their sister Elizabeth Work in Plymouth, IN. This was reported in a local newspaper and confirms the family relationships. ** A Rebecca Miller died in Clinton County in 1914, but she seems to have been a younger woman. I have not seen the death certificates. Correct me if I am wrong.
