Description	:	ANNIE CHAMBERS was born in Greene County, Iowa October 2, 1866 and died at her home in Osceola, Iowa October 6, 1917; aged fifty-one years and four days. She was united in marriage to GRANT CRABB January 1, 1885. To this union were born six children, five of whom she is survived by: MRS. O. DAVIS of Lacelle; MRS. P. Read More	ANNIE CHAMBERS was born in Greene County, Iowa October 2, 1866 and died at her home in Osceola, Iowa October 6, 1917; aged fifty-one years and four days. She was united in marriage to GRANT CRABB January 1, 1885. To this union were born six children, five of whom she is survived by: MRS. O. DAVIS of Lacelle; MRS. P. MORAN of Murray; ROY, GUY and ELMER J. of Osceola. JAMES WILLIAM died at the age of 1 year, 4 months and 15 days. She is also survived by her husband, one brother, JOHN M. CHAMBERS of Wymore, Nebraska, and ten grandchildren. She became a member of the United Brethren Church in 1882. In 1902 they moved to Lacelle where she became a member of the Baptist Church in 1908. The following text was used at the funeral: "Having then a great high priest, who hath passed through the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our confession. For we have not a high priest, that cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but one that hath been in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Let us therefore draw near with boldness unto the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and may find grace to help us in time of need." MRS. CRABB's religious life was characterized by three outstanding features, which were emphasized by Rev. Munyon, which correspond to essentials in the Christian system. She possessed a profound faith in the principles, program and personality of Jesus Christ the son of God. Her Christian witness was in keeping with scripture word in regard to bearing testimony of salvation thru the Son of God, and these fundamentals were backed and reinforced by a consistent practical expression in daily life. "Her own works praise her in the gates." To such an one there can be no fear of passing. "Afraid? Of whom am I afraid? Not death; for who is he? The porter of my Father's lodge, as much abasheth me." Funeral services were held at the Christian Church Tuesday afternoon, October 9th at 2 o'clock conducted by Rev. Munyon assisted by Rev. Leonard. Buriel was made at Maple Hill Cemetery. Those who were present at the funeral from a distance were MR. and MRS. JOHN M. CHAMBERS and son of Wymore, Nebraska; MR. and MRS. CHARLIE SMITH and daughter of Russell, Iowa; MR. SAMUEL SMITH and daughter of Chariton, Iowa; MR. NOAH SMITH of Numa, Iowa; MRS. JENNIE WINCHELL; MRS. ELLA JOHNSON; MRS. MINNIE ADKINS; MR. AND MRS. H. KING; MR. CHESTER KING and MR. AND MRS. A.W. FRIZELLE of Rippey, Iowa; MRS. ANJOLINE HEATON of Jefferson, Iowa; MR. and MRS. CHARLES BROBST of Jamaica, Iowa; MR. GODFREY; MRS. CARL DALE and MRS. CLYDE WILSON of Des Moines, and MR. and MRS. GEORGE SHEPHARD of New Virginia, Iowa.
