Newport Hoosier State Wednesday, July 15, 1885 Miss Jennie Craig, of this township, died on Wednesday last, aged about 25 years, of consumption. Her parents died when she was quite small. She had always made her home with Mother Clearwaters. She was an estimable young lady, and had a host of warm personal friends. Her funeral took place on Thursday last, Rev. J.H. Hollingsworth, pastor of the M.E. Church at Frankfort, preaching the discourse.	Thanks to Carolyn Schwab for the obituary.
