Drake was born in Wayne County, Iowa May 10, 1854 and passed away at the home of her son Halga northeast of Powersville, March 15, 1939 being at that time eighty-four years, ten months and five days of age. She was united in marriage with Marcus Jellison on November 17, 1894 who died November 3, 1902. To this marriage one son, Halga was born. Langless Rebecca J. Drake was born in Wayne County, Iowa May 10, 1854 and passed away at the home of her son Halga northeast of Powersville, March 15, 1939 being at that time eighty-four years, ten months and five days of age. She was united in marriage with Marcus Jellison on November 17, 1894 who died November 3, 1902. To this marriage one son, Halga was born. In 1904 she was married to Mark Langloss who also preceded her in death several years ago. After his death she took over the care of an invalid sister, Mrs. Orilla Rogers, until a few months ago when because of failing health it was necessary that she be taken to her son's home to be cared for. She spent her entire life, with the exception of one year in South Missouri, near Powersville and in Wayne County, Iowa and Putnam County, Missouri. She is survived by her only child and his wife, three grandchildren, an invalid sister, who passed away this morning, one nephew, one niece, and a host of friends and old neighbors. Funeral services were conducted Friday morning at the Powersville Christian Church by Roy D. Eaton, burial in the Edmonds Cemetery near the Missouri-Iowa line.
