Rebecca at the age of 5 with her parents and siblings; Edward, Lydia, Jacobine and Bertha, immigrated to America via the Port of Hamburg, Germany on the 3rd of November 1901 aboard the SS "Patricia" and arrived at Ellis Island, New York on the 18th of November 1901. Rebecca married Rudolf SAILER on the 14th of March 1915 at Hazen, Mercer County, North Dakota. This union was blessed with no less than 11 children; Erwin P, Hertha R, Alfred O, Reynold C, Richard R, Ruby E, Irene V, Ardella E, Elmer, Helen B and Eugene.
