Mrs. Huggin was the daughter of the late E.L. Wylie and the late Edith Hoyle Wylie, and wife of the late Paul Huggin. She was born in Cherokee County S.C., a registered nurse, and a member of the Buford Street United Methodist Church in Gaffney, S.C. Mrs. Huggins cared for most of Gaffney as a registered nurse while working for Dr. J.C. Hall until his retirement, and then for Dr. Preston Edwards, until she was 90 years old. Mrs. Huggin is survived by a daughter, Patricia Huggin Grove and husband R. Barry of Brentwood, Tn.; one granddaughter, Julie Martin and husband Eric of Franklin, Tn.; one grandson, J. Randolph Grove and wife Susan of Nashville, Tn.: five great-grandchildren, Drew, John William, and Matthew Martin, and Claudia and Jackson Grove. In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters; Lena Davis and Mary Helen Hovis. Visitation for Mrs. Huggin will be held at the Buford Street United Methodist Church in Gaffney, S.C. on Friday, June 4, 2010, from 10:00-11:00 am. Funeral Services will follow the visitation at 11:00 am in the Church, conducted by the Rev. Joseph James. Burial will be at Frederick Memorial Gardens in Gaffney. Memorials may be made to the Buford Street United Methodist Church, 120 East Buford Street, Gaffney, S.C. 29340. Arrangements for Mrs. Huggin have been entrusted to the Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home at Frederick Memorial Gardens, 986 Chesnee Highway, Gaffney, S.C. Shuford-Hatcher Funeral Home
