| Description | : | Reinhold "Shorty" Hochhalter was born December 29, 1906 at Armour, South Dakota to Adolph and Christina (Mettler) Hochhalter. He married Violet Jaton November 19, 1944. He operated the Mobil Station in Tripp South Dakota for several years and the Mobil bulk service for 37 years, retiring in 1972. He served on the Tripp City Council for 12 years, was Past Grand Master of the Tripp Masonic Lodge of A.F. & A.M. and was secretary of that Lodge for 27 years.
