She attended school in Harrisburg, graduating in 1937 from Harrisburg High School. She married Charles "Ivan" Anderson in Hugo, Colo. on January 23, 1939. They lived all of their married lives in Banner County, and were longtime residents of the Epworth Community. She was involved with the family farm and ranch until her death. She was a member of the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Days Saints, and taught Sunday school. She was a member of the Daughters' of the Covenant and helped with the Zion's League. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Glynette and Dick Patton of Scottsbluff; son and daughter-in-law, Charles E. and Linda Anderson of Pine Bluffs, WY; four grandchildren; two great grandsons; one sister, Neva Scott of Gering; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband on April 18, 1992, her parents, one brother Clifford Olsen, one sister Helen Ruhl and two infant sisters Betty and Dorothy. Memorial gifts may be made to the Banner County Fire and Rescue Department or the Albin Fire and Rescue Department. Cantrell Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
