Description	:	Retha Eshleman Martin, age 83, of State Line Road, Waynesboro, Pa., passed away Wednesday afternoon March 27, 2013, at Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown. Born Oct. 2, 1929, in Smithsburg, Md., she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Amanda (Eshleman) Martin. She was a faithful homemaker and a member of the Paradise Mennonite Church. She is survived by: her husband, Grant B. Martin whom she married on Dec. 12, 1951; five sons, Gary R. Martin and wife Esther Mae of Hagerstown, Arnold L. Martin and wife Verna of Bedford, Keith L. Martin and wife Rebecca of Waynesboro, Linford R.... Martin and wife Rebecca of Waynesboro, Linford R. Martin of Waynesboro, Timothy R. Martin and wife Lavonda of Hagerstown; two daughters, Erma Martin and Rachel Martin both of Waynesboro; 21 grandchildren; 46 great-grandchildren; two brothers. Harold E. Martin of Hagerstown, Merle E. Martin of Smithsburg; and one sister, Alice E. Miller of Waynesboro. She was preceded in death by: two brothers, Charles E. Martin and Allen E. Martin; two granddaughters; and one great-granddaughter. Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 1, at 10 a.m. from the Paradise Mennonite Church on Air View Road, Hagerstown with the Paradise Church Ministry officiating. Burial will be in the adjoining church cemetery. There will be a viewing at the Paradise Mennonite Church on Sunday, March 31, from 1 to 3 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. and one hour before the service on Monday. The family requests the omission of flowers.
