Description	:	Reuben, 92, Wapak, died at 6:18 p.m., at Auglaize Acres. He was the son of Herman and Olga (Baeumel) Lunz. On Jun 20, 1948, he married Phyllis I. Rausch, who preceded him in death. Surviving are two daughters: Joyce (Bruce) Stolp, LaQuinta, CA, and Anita Lunz, Wapak; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Surviving are two daughters: Joyce (Bruce) Stolp, LaQuinta, CA, and Anita Lunz, Wapak; and four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Deceased are a brother and two sisters linked below; a brother-in-law, Lester Koch; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Rausch; and a nephew, Steven Andrew. A member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pusheta Rd., he served as a trustee for many years and used his talents as a carpenter to work on several improvement projects in the basement and church. He helped to design and construct the addition to the front of the church, which included making a new wood frame for the stained glass window that had been covered over many years earlier and is now on the south wall of the new addition. He was a member of the Carpenters Local Union #372 for 50 years, of which he retired from as a carpenter. He had been engaged in farming his entire life, helping his father and then taking over the farm when he was married. He spent many hours in his wood working shop constructing many things from for family. He made dining tables and jewelry boxes of various woods and designs, small pieces of furniture, cabinets in his home, and three grandfather clocks, the last of which he completed when he was 90. He was an avid card player, enjoyed gardening, and grafted and grew peach trees. He loved sharing his bounty with others. Services will be at the St. John’s Lutheran Church, Pusheta Road, with Pastor Kurt Klingbeil officiating. Burial will follow in the St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery, Pusheta Road.
