Description	:	REV. CHARLES DAVID GIBSON, 82, loving husband of 62 years to Maxine Rice Gibson, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, October 16, 2015, at his home. Funeral service will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, October 20, 2015, at Liberty Baptist Church located at the intersection of US Rt. 60 and Yates' Crossing in Milton, with Pastor Kim Stone officiating. Mr. Gibson was born February 4, 1933, in Hurricane, a son of the late Orlin and Leliar Gibson. He was also preceded in death by his only son, Phillip Scott Gibson; three brothers, Eschol, Earl and Carl Gibson; and one sister, Ruthetta Fetty. Charles pastored many churches during his ministry, which spanned for over 50 years. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War and was the owner and operator of Gibson Glass in Milton, where he was a master craftsman in his skill. In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by six daughters, Sandy Reffitt of Scott Depot, Sharolyn (Paul David) Scites of Ona, Terry Gibson of Lexington, Ky., Rhonda (Roger) Simmons of Barboursville, Mendy (Gary) Miller of Milton and Lisa (Jesse) Manning of Milton; five grandchildren, David Craw, Eric (Laurissa) Miller, Rachel Miller, J.D. Manning and Emily Manning; three great-grandchildren, Leah Craw, Cali Craw and Anna Craw; two brothers, Kent (Moneva) Gibson of Barboursville and Edward (Nadine) Gibson of Milton; three sisters, Sue (Pete) Doss of Phoenix, Ariz., Reda (Herbert) Alford of Ona and Connie Gibson of Milton; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and church family.
