Description	:	Rev. Charles Earl DeLoach, 84, of Varnville died Saturday, January 07, 2012 at his residence after extended illness. Born Oct. 9, 1927 in Hampton County, he was the son of the late Charles Edward DeLoach and Mary Ellen Winn DeLoach. He served his country in both the Merchant Marines and the United States Army. He established DeLoach Meat Packing Company in 1965, was a member of the SC Forestry Commission and the Shandon Masonic Lodge in Columbia, SC. He had been the pastor of Mt. Charles Earl DeLoach, 84, of Varnville died Saturday, January 07, 2012 at his residence after extended illness. Born Oct. 9, 1927 in Hampton County, he was the son of the late Charles Edward DeLoach and Mary Ellen Winn DeLoach. He served his country in both the Merchant Marines and the United States Army. He established DeLoach Meat Packing Company in 1965, was a member of the SC Forestry Commission and the Shandon Masonic Lodge in Columbia, SC. He had been the pastor of Mt. Olive Baptist Church near Cummings for 17 years and was a member of the Nixville Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife Eleanor Jean McCaskill DeLoach of the home and his son, Stephen Earl DeLoach and his wife Teresa of Varnville. There are two grandchildren, Matthew Stephen DeLoach and his wife Lauren and Justin Earl DeLoach. Funeral services will be held Monday, January 9, 2012 at 11 AM in the Nixville Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. Paul Creason and Rev. Aaron Winn. Burial will follow in the Live Oak Cemetery near Varnville, SC. Friends may call Sunday evening from 5 until 7 PM at Peeples-Rhoden Funeral Home, 300 Mulberry Street West, Hampton, SC 29924 (803-943-3352). The casket will be placed in the church at 10 AM prior to the service. Memorials in his memory may be made to: Nixville Baptist Church, New Life Center, 3915 Two Sisters Ferry Road, Estill, SC 29918 or Sanctuary Hospice, 308 Elm Street West, Hampton, SC 29924.
