| Description | : | In 1869, Daniel Goodwin of Bangor, Maine moved to Wickford, RI. He married Hannah (Eldred), daughter of James & Hannah (Spink) Eldred. Rev. Goodwin was a priest at St. Paul's Episcopal Church living at the rectory across from "The Oaklands" that Hannah lived at as a child. He was a highly respected man in East Greenwich & Wickford. Rev. Goodwin was responsible for the reconstruction of St. Paul's Church. His projects included adding a Church bell, clock tower, expanding the chapel, redesigning the inside of the Church, and replacing the frosted glass windows with beautiful stained glass. ...
