Description	:	Rev Ebenezer Cleveland was the son of Josiah Cleveland and Abigail Paine Cleveland. He was married to Abigail Stevens. He received his degree from Yale College in 1749. He helped to establish Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire. He was a Chaplain in the French & Indian War and Revolutionary War. He was at the Battle of Bunker Hill. HE WAS A SINCERE FRIEND OF HIS COUNTRY, A FIRM SUPPORTER OF THE DOCTRINES OF FREE GRACE, AND DECLARED IN HIS LAST MOMENTS THAT THEY WERE THE GROUND OF HIS HOPE OF IMMORTAL GLORY.
