According to historical documents for Union, CT, found on Ancestry.com, Ebenezer is buried in the old seciton of Union Center Cemetery. His headstone may be lost. I recently photographed that area but could find no headstone. One historical document describes the "Cemeteries of Union". It refers to Ebenezer's headstone as being near several graves that are in Union Center Cemetery (the Lawsons and Wales). The document also describes part of the inscription on Ebenezer's stone; "Lo, here the sacred dust of Wyman lies." Other documents indicate that after Ebenezer's death in 1746, his widow, Mary , married Abner Sessions on March 13, 1747. Abner is buried in Union Center Cemetery. Mary Sessions, Abner's wife and Ebenezer's widow, who died on April 26, 1782, is also buried in Union Center Cemetery and I posted a picture of her grave stone. Another Ancestry.com document lists members of the Union Church of Christ prior to 1759. It includes "Abner Sessions, deacon; Mary Sessions, his wife, widow of Rev. Ebenezer Wyman...." Yet another historical document records that Abner and Mary had three children, "Ebenezer named for her first husband and two daughters Silence and Mary." Mary's father was Josiah Wright of Woburn, Mass. (Find A Grave contributor Jack Shackles )
