Description	:	Frances Evelyn Brown, 98, went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2010. She was born on August 29, 1912 in Funk, Nebraska to Andrew and Wilhelmina (Dahlquist) Lofquist. When she was a child the family moved to Harper, WA. She worked her way through high school as a mother's helper, and graduated from Yakima Business College while supporting her parents. They... Read More	Frances Evelyn Brown, 98, went to be with the Lord on November 1, 2010. She was born on August 29, 1912 in Funk, Nebraska to Andrew and Wilhelmina (Dahlquist) Lofquist. When she was a child the family moved to Harper, WA. She worked her way through high school as a mother's helper, and graduated from Yakima Business College while supporting her parents. She was also the Young People's Leader at the Stone Church in the early 1930's. She was united in marriage to Elbert (Bill) Brown at the Stone Church in Yakima, Church in Yakima on October 18, 1936. They pastored in Poplar, Montana from 1945 until 1954, when they moved to Indonesia to serve as missionaries in both Ambon and Medan, Sumatra. They then ministered to U.S. troops in Germany until their retirement to Yakima. They then began a ministry of visitation to shut-ins until Bill's death in 1994. Frances faithfully continued this ministry until her passing.
