Description	:	Reverend Francis Roland Rogers went to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 30, 2012 at 6:55 p.m. at his residence at Gardens of Lake City of Warsaw, Indiana at the age of 93. He was born on November 29, 1918 in Rochester, Indiana to Raymond Roy Rogers and Ruth (Lowe) Rogers. He was married on April 6, 1946 to Betty Lou Dillman, who preceded him in death in 1990. He was born on November 29, 1918 in Rochester, Indiana to Raymond Roy Rogers and Ruth (Lowe) Rogers. He was married on April 6, 1946 to Betty Lou Dillman, who preceded him in death in 1990. He then remarried in 1991 to Ruth Hunter, who passed away in 2008. He was at Pearl Harbor and served in the U.S. Army during WWII, and was honorably discharged in 1945. Francis was a 1956 graduate of the Moody Bible Institute; a 1965 graduate of Grace College in Winona Lake, Indiana; and he received his Masters degree from Purdue University in 1974. He was a Baptist minister in Illinois, Ohio, and Rochester, Indiana as well as a farmer. He had been a resident of Kosciusko County, Indiana since 1999, where he was a member of Pleasant View Bible Church in Warsaw. He will be lovingly remembered by his three daughters: Cyndi (husband Allan) Parman (Wabash, Indiana); Sandra Sue (husband David) Miller (Exeter, California); Mary Ann (husband John) Pugh (Michigan City, Michigan); and his son: James Ray (wife Laurie) Rogers (Winona Lake, Indiana). He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; and one sister: Nora Ella Long (Avon, Indiana). He was preceded in death by his parents, both wives, one brother Jim Rogers, two sisters: Rhea Dielman and Rosella Benefiel. His funeral service will be conducted on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Redpath-Fruth Funeral Home, 225 Argonne Road, Warsaw, Indiana and officiated by Pastor Michael Hontz. There will be visitation prior to the funeral service on Friday, November 2, 2012 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 noon. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m. at the I.O.O.F.
