On Sept 25, 1892 Mr. and Mrs. celebrated the Golden anniversary of their wedding... The funeral services were held Wednesday after-noon and the remains laid to rest in the Cruickshank Cemetery. The deceased was quite a familiar figure in North Bend, and enjoyed an extensive acquaintance throughout the county. He was an adherent to the United Brethren Faith, being a local preacher of that denomination. He was quite an energetic man of his age, and was well posted on matters pertaining to life.
