He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on September 16, 1929 to Alfred C. and Irene (Harden) Luster. Jim was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army from 1944 to 1945. On December 18, 1947 he married Mary Katherine Smith, and they had recently celebrated 64 years of marriage together. Luster, age 82 of Windfall, IN passed away on Tuesday December 27, 2011 at IU Health Tipton Hospital. He was born in Lepanto, Arkansas on September 16, 1929 to Alfred C. and Irene (Harden) Luster. Jim was a veteran of WWII serving in the US Army from 1944 to 1945. On December 18, 1947 he married Mary Katherine Smith, and they had recently celebrated 64 years of marriage together. Jim was a truck driver for Voris Seeds in Windfall for many years before retiring in 1992. He was a licensed and ordained minister in the Assemblies of the Lord Jesus Christ Churches and was a member of the Windfall Pentecostal Church. In his spare time Jim loved to travel and always finding time to stop in to visit with family and friends. Survivors include his wife, Mary K. Luster of Windfall, two daughters, a daughter in law, and a sister. Other survivors include six grandchildren, and eight great grandchildren. James was preceded in death by his parents, a son Jack Luster, a great grandson Korey; and a son-in- law Ray McCool His cousin, Jay Harden will officiate
