Description	:	From the LaFollette Press, Thursday, March 23, 2006: Rev. Jobby Byrge, age 82 of LaFollette, went home to be with the Lord early on the morning of March 19 at his home. He was a member of Central Baptist Church in Caryville, a U.S. Veteran of World War II, and a retired coal miner. He pastored several Baptist Churches in Campbell and Anderson Counties for over 50 years which included: Clinchmore, Beech Fork, Grave Hill, Frost Bottom, Fellowship, Round Rock, Waldens View, Ivy Grove, High Street, Red Oak, Central, Free Communion, and Rock Hill. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jim and Nannie Phillips Byrge; grandchildren, Ross Alan Byrge and Lori Mae Byrge; brothers, Luther, Early, Jasper, and Ellis; sisters, Ettie, Dorothy, Pauline and Ora Ella. He is survived by his wife, Edith Brock Byrge; sons and daughters-in-law, Bobby and Nadine Byrge, Tommy Byrge, all of LaFollette, Larry and Dawn Byrge, Roger and Pam Byrge, all of Jacksboro, Johnny and Laura Byrge of LaFollette; daughters and son-in-law, Shelby and James Day, Beulah Curl, all of Jacksboro, Deanna Miller and Missy Byrge, both of LaFollette; 23 grand children; 32 great-grandchildren; brother Carley Byrge of Anderson County; sister, Lithia Carroll of Caryville. Funeral services were March 20 at the First Baptist Church in LaFollette with the Rev. Anthony Leach and Rev. Adam Hunley officiating. Interment was in the Campbell Memorial Gardens. Grand Son
