Burial followed in the Plunkaway Cemetery along side his Loving Wife of 63 years. Wesley, the son of Joseph S. and Bobbie R. Stark Harralson was born October 2, 1930, in Victoria, TX. He passed away Monday, April 29, 2013, at St. Frances Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, LA. Rev. Harralson was a faithful servant and supporter of many church ministries, pastoring numerous churches throughout his years of ministry in Louisiana and Texas. He served on the Finance Board of the Congregational Methodist Church and on the Board of Directors of Wesley College in Florence, MS. He was the owner and operator of Harralson Tie & Lumber Company for almost 50 years and also served as a Vernon Parish Police Juror. Bro. Wesley started his day at 5 am each morning in prayer for one hour before making coffee for his employees. He was a generous supporter of his community not only through prayer and financial support, but giving his time and resources freely. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather who always sought to point his family towards God. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife of 63 years, Varnie Mae Harralson. Mr. Harralson is survived by his son and daughter-in-law of Anacoco, LA; two daughters and sons-in-law of Anacoco, LA; sister of Leesville, LA; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren, and three great great grandchildren. Services were under under the direction of Labby Memorial Funeral Home of Leesville.
