William and his sister went to Scottsdale, Arizona for his health (Tuberculosis) in 1904, and he remained there until 1910, having married in 1909 to Anna Mary Pritchard, daughter of John Wagner Pritchard, the editor and publisher of the Christian Nation, official publication of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. Prof. R.j. George, D.D., the bridegroom’s father. Because the Rev. W.m. George has not recovered sufficiently form his long illness to return East, the ceremony was performed at his home in Scottsdale, Arizona, where he and his bride will reside for the present. Mr. and Mrs. John W. Pritchard, parents of the bride, accompanied their daughter from Montclair, N.J., and were present at the wedding, as were all the members of Prof. George’s family.” Anna Mary Pritchard was the author of Prohibition Mother Goose (1914). From 1914-22 she was NJ state delegate to the Woman’s Christian Temperance Union (Brooklyn NY Daily Star, 12 July 1920, p.2; Brooklyn NY Daily Star, 24 Feb 1922, p.2.) John Wagner Pritchard was editor and publisher of the Christian Nation, official publication of the Reformed Presbyterian Church. He had lived in Montclair since 1907 and was an elder in the Reformed Presbyterian Church. He was the author of "Soldiers of the Church: What the Reformed Presbyterians (Covenanters) of North America, Canada, and the British Isles, Did to Win the World War of 1914-1918" and married Harriet Small, a native of Lanarkshire, Scotland.
