New Churches were at Spring View, the county seat, and at Brewer and Stephenson. A while after, a brother of his , Rev. A. W. DeWitt joined him from Illinois. Both gave themselves heartley to the work and the Cause prospered; so that a Quarterly meeting was organized; called the Niobra, from the noted river of that name and from part of the boundry between Brown and Keya Paha County. A.W. DeWitt is buried in Holt County.
