She was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Surry County to the late Jack and Lillian Cook. She was employed by Brown Wooten Hosiery for 26 years. Read More	MOUNT AIRY, NC ~ Mrs. Reva Joy Sisk, 65, of 1256A Newsome St., Mount Airy, passed away Wednesday, April 28, 2004, at Northern Surry Hospital. She was born Aug. 6, 1938, in Surry County to the late Jack and Lillian Cook. She was employed by Brown Wooten Hosiery for 26 years. She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jose Bustos, of Mount Airy; three sisters and brothers-in-law: Lois and Ted Simmons of Pinnacle, Allure and Jack Bennett of Danbury, and Joan Cook of Dobson; and five grandchildren: Eric Robinson, Codey Newman, Taylor Newman, Channa Bustos, and Christian Bustos. Mrs. Sisk was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Reid Sisk, and her parents. The funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, May 1, at Cox-Needham Chapel, with the Rev. Keith Love and the Rev. R.J. Hartman officiating. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 30, at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Reva Sisk Funeral Fund, c/o Cox-Needham Funeral Home. The Sisk family is being served by Cox-Needham Funeral Home of Pilot Mountain.
