Read More	Source: The Victor Record 12/22/1960 Former Resident Dies at Marengo Hopsital Rex E. Lenocker, son of Harley and Grace Lenocker, was born in Dexter, Iowa, May 24, 1916. The family moved to Victor and operated a creamery for a number of years. Rex attended the Victor public school and First Methodist Church. He was very active in the church choir and sang on different occasions, taking the bass part, and also played in the Victor band. His health had been failing for the past few years, and on Thursday, Dec. 15, he was taken to the Memorial hospital in Marengo. He passed away the same night at the age of 44 years, 6 months, 21 days. He leaves to mourn his passing, his mother, Mrs. Grace Lenocker and one brother Bryant Lenocker, both of Cedar Rapids; one sister, Mrs. Rhea Michael of Omaha, NE., other relatives and many friends. His father preceded him in death on Feb. 8, 1934. Funeral services were held from the McAninch chapel, Sunday, Dec. 18, with the Rev. N. F. Grote, pastor of First Methodist church, officiating. Mrs. George Keller played two organ solos, "This is my Father's World" and"Beyond the Sunset." Casket bearers were Lester Kempf, Delamer Shultz, Joe Safken, H. Art Schwiebert, Russell Fetzer and C. D. McAninch. Burial was in the Victor I.O.O.F. cemetery on the family lot.
