He is survived by daughter, Jean (James "Bimmer") Dalton, Pictou; granddaughter, Marcy Dalton, Halifax; grandson, Trevor Dalton, Pictou; nephew, Edward (Cecile) Corkum, Pictou; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife, Emma (Gunn); 13 brothers and sisters, Emmerson, Ethel, Nellie, Walter, Bernald, Franklin, George, Stanley, Lawrence, Mary, Andy, Irene and Minnie. Visitation will be held 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. today in McLaren Funeral Home, Pictou. Funeral service will be held 1:30 p.m. Sunday in McLaren Funeral Home Chapel, Pictou, with Rev. Mary-Beth Moriarity officiating. Burial will be in Seaview Cemetery. Donations in his memory may be made to Canadian Diabetes Association.
