Description	:	Rhoda G. Roeschlein, 91 of Brazil died February 15, 2009 at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility. She had been a resident there a short time. She was born November 23, 1917 in Vigo County the daughter of James E. Thomas and Glen Barnhart Thomas. She graduated from Ashboro High School, Class of 1936. She also attended Browns Business School. As of late, when her health permitted she attended The Door Christian Fellowship Church. Roeschlein, 91 of Brazil died February 15, 2009 at Cloverleaf Healthcare Facility. She had been a resident there a short time. She was born November 23, 1917 in Vigo County the daughter of James E. Thomas and Glen Barnhart Thomas. She graduated from Ashboro High School, Class of 1936. She also attended Browns Business School. As of late, when her health permitted she attended The Door Christian Fellowship Church. She had been a member of the Saline City Church, where she was a member of the Ladies Aide Group. She also was a member of the Home Ec Club in the Ashboro area. She was an avid reader and enjoyed tending the vegetable garden. One of her most enduring missions was her ministry at the Terre Haute Federal Prison. She played the piano for church services there for over 30 years, and was a witness to so many by her Christian faith. Survivors include her son and daughter in law, Tom and Rose Marie Roeschlein, and her daughter and son in law, Becky and Rick Hayes all of Brazil; five grandchildren, Hannah Roeschlein, Thomas T.L. Roeschlein, Carmela Roeschlein, Rhonda Boring and husband Brad, and Chris Hayes and wife Jess; great-grandchildren, Tanner Hayes, and Erica, Elisha, and McKenzie; many nieces and nephews and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband Claude Richard ‘Dick' Leachman died in 1949; her second husband John Herschel Roeschlein died in 1973; two brothers, James R. ‘Pat' Thomas and Charles Thomas; and two sisters Grace E. Knox and Glen Janice McCullough. Funeral Information Services will be held Thursday at 1:00pm at French Funeral Home with her son, Pastor Tom Roeschlein officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday from 11-1pm.
