He was born to Henry and Francis (Reutebuch) Gilsinger May 4, 1932 in Pulaski Indiana. He married Rozella Johnson in September 26, 1951 in Rochester Indiana. She passed away September 21, 1972. He was born to Henry and Francis (Reutebuch) Gilsinger May 4, 1932 in Pulaski Indiana. He married Rozella Johnson in September 26, 1951 in Rochester Indiana. She passed away September 21, 1972. He married Leona P. Gilsinger December 15, 1973 and she preceded him in death December 13, 2013. In the eyes of God he was married to Beatrice Shafer when he passed. Rich graduated from Kewanna High School with the class of 1950. He retired from Chrysler in 1988 after 28 years of service. Rich enjoyed reading and researching history and genealogy. Surviving him are three sons R.T. "Tom" Gilsinger (Cathy), Michael Gilsinger (Marian), and Mark Gilsinger (Benita), sister Rosa Hartle, 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren that he loved. Those that have passed before him are his previous wives, sons Joseph Gilsinger and William Gilsinger, brother Russell Weller, and a great grandson Cohen Gilsinger. Funeral Services for Rich will take place Tuesday April 9, 2019 at Ellers Mortuary Webster Chapel at 1:00pm. There will be a time of gathering for friends from 12:00pm to 1:00pm before the service. Burial will follow at Crown Point Cemetery in Kokomo.
