Sanders, died Monday September 7, 2009 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was born in Nashua on August 8, 1945 a son of the late Dana and Jane (Hurd) Sanders. Richard attended Sacred Heart elementary school in Nashua and was a graduate of Bishop Brady High School in Manchester. Read More	Obituary from the Nashua Herald: Richard Allen Sanders, Nashua Richard Allen Sanders, 64, of Nashua, Husband of Renee B. Sanders, died Monday September 7, 2009 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA. He was born in Nashua on August 8, 1945 a son of the late Dana and Jane (Hurd) Sanders. Richard attended Sacred Heart elementary school in Nashua and was a graduate of Bishop Brady High School in Manchester. At the age of 17, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy and served for three years in active service and three years in the naval reserves. He later attended N.H. College in Nashua and graduated as a computer technician. He was employed with Computerland of Guam and worked on the Islands of Guam and Saipan. In his leisure time he took up scuba diving and became a licensed professional. He married Renee Boucher on November 7, 1998 on Saipan. Later while residing in Hawaii, Richard served as a civilian security officer on the U.S.S. Missouri from 2004-2007. The couple returned to Nashua in June of 2007. He held membership in the secular Order of St. Francis of Assisi. Members of his family include his wife, Renee Sanders; two sons and daughters-in-law, Patrick and Donna Sanders of Nashua, Philip and Fatima Sanders of Goffstown; four grandchildren, Trevor, Katrina, Keith and Ava Sanders; and his former wife, Linda Sanders of Nashua. SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A committal service will be held in the East Cemetery, Wheeler Road in Hollis, Friday afternoon at 1:30 pm. Military rites will follow. Friends are invited to attend. Arrangements are in the care of the FARWELL FUNERAL SERVICE of Nashua.
