Description	:	Richard A. Perry, age 92, of Lilburn, Georgia, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, August 17, 2013. He is survived by two daughters, Ginger Zachman of Lilburn, GA, and Priscilla Arnold and her husband Paul of Davenport, Iowa; two grandchildren, Jeffrey Zachman of Atlanta, GA and Angela Zachman of Nashville, TN (Vanderbilt University); other relatives and a host of friends. Mr. Perry was preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his beloved wife, Laurie H. Perry. Mr. Perry was born on July 5, 1921 in Britton's Neck, South Carolina to Maggie Leona Davis Perry and Lucious Augustus Perry. He graduated from Clemson University and received his Master's Degree in Education from the University of South Carolina. Mr. Perry retired from Mullins, SC Elementary School as Principal after a career in education. He was a member of Smoke Rise Baptist Church and enjoyed the company of the Senior Men's Sunday School Class. Mr. Perry's greatest joy in life was being a father and grandfather. A Memorial Service Honoring the Life of Mr. Perry will be held Monday, August 19, 2013 at 10:00 A.M. at Smoke Rise Baptist Church with Rev. Ernie Forrester officiating. The family will receive friends after the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Smoke Rise Baptist Church or the American Heart Association in memory of Richard A. Perry. Mr. Perry will be laid to rest next to his wife; Laurie at a Graveside Service to be held on Friday, August 30, 2013 at the Palmer Cemetery, Marion, SC. Tom M. Wages Funeral Service, LLC, "A Family Company", Snellville Chapel (770-979-3200) has been entrusted with the arrangements.
