Services were Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Bethel Christian Reformed Church in Sioux Center with the Rev. Robert Drenton officiating. Burial was in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Sioux Center. Van Voorst was born January 1, 1921, in Sioux Center to Bert and Hattie (Schutt) Van Voorst. He moved to Ireton in 1939 to farm. He retired and moved to Sioux Center in 1982.
