| Description | : | Richard C. Paxson, was the only child of Joseph S. and Deborah Iddings Paxson. He graduated from Haverford College in Haverford, Pennsylvania in 1859. Richard then joined his parents who were living in San Francisco, California. He became the Deputy Treasurer of the City and County of San Francisco, a position he held until his death in 1864.
