Description	:	RICHARD COLUMBUS REEVES Richard Columbus Reeves, son of Isom and Amanda Reeves, was born November 1, 1857 and died May 10, 1932, aged 74 years, 6 months and 21 days. He was married to Leota Elliott on September 19, 1906 and to this union were bom three sons who With the widow survive. The sons are: Alexander, of Delta, Pennsylvania, Wayne and Olin C., of Independence. He was converted in early life and joined the Primitive Baptist church at Elk Creek, N. He always attended church meetings regularly and was ar great- believer in worshipping God. He was an honest and upright man and will be missed by all who knew him. The examples that he set before the world will live in the lives of his relatives and friends forever. He encouraged his' children to live right and asked every one to pray for him that he might live to come back home. It seemed that he had much to live for, a kind companion, three .children and a splendid home, but God, in his all wise providence, saw fit to call him. home. The funeral services were conducted by Hevs. Caudill Williams and B. A. Poole and the body was laid to rest in the family cemetery to await the resurrection morn. So let us follow in his footsteps so we may meet him again.' Let us not weep for while it is our loss, it is his eternal- gain for he has gone to that beautiful land on a far away strand to. a land where we'll never grow old.
