A Graveside Service will be October 6, 2006 at the West Lawn Cemetery in Gering. Richard was born on January 6, 1931 in David City, NE to Paul A. and Goldie Mae (Myers) Curry. He received his elementary education in David City before the family moved to Minatare, where Richard graduated with the Class of 1948. Richard served in the U.S. Army from 1948 until 1950 before moving back to the Minatare area. He worked for Burlington Northern Railroad locally, until he received a transfer to Denver. Richard lived in Denver for a total of 45 years. Richard is survived by his sister Louise G. Pickard of Cheyenne, WY; sister-in-law Mim Curry of Midland, TX; niece Lynn (Doug) Seyler of Richmond, TX; and great-niece Lorilynn Seyler of Richmond, TX. His parents and brother LaVerne Curry preceded Richard in death.
