Cox, who preceded him in death. Mr. Lovett retired as a maintenance supervisor at Standard Oil Refinery. He was an Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a staff sergeant with the 305th Bombardment Group. Cox, who preceded him in death. Mr. Lovett retired as a maintenance supervisor at Standard Oil Refinery. He was an Army Air Corps veteran, serving as a staff sergeant with the 305th Bombardment Group. He was a member of St. Gerard's Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wards Post 1275, American Legion Post 96, Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie 370 and the BP Quarter Century Club. Survivors include five sons, Dennis R. (Paulette) Lovett, Gerald E. (Karen) Lovett, Timothy J. (Pat) Lovett and Scott R. (Barb) Lovett, all of Lima, and Gregory A. (Kathy) Lovett of Cincinnati; a daughter, Sandra J. (Pat) Heaphy of Lima; a sister, Ruth E. Standish of Lavonia, Mich.; seven grand-children, two step-grandchildren and a great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward R. and Robert Lovett. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10 .m. Thursday at St. Gerard's Catholic Church. The Rev. Louise A. Olive will officiate. Entombment will be in Memorial Park Mausoleum. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. today at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home, where a parish wake service will begin at 8 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita's Hospice.
