Description	:	Richard E. Morrison, 75, of Conrad, IA passed away Tuesday, June 13, 2017, at Mercy Medical Center, in Des Moines. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 17, 2017, at Dysart United Methodist Church, in Dysart, IA. Visitation will be 9:00 a.m., until the time of the services, at the church. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, in Marshalltown. Richard was born October 2, 1941 in Davenport, IA. He was adopted by William S. and Reba E. Interment will be at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens, in Marshalltown. Richard was born October 2, 1941 in Davenport, IA. He was adopted by William S. and Reba E. Stoll Morrison, and he was raised in Conrad, IA. Richard moved to Waterloo, IA in 1979, where he was employed with Goodwill and also worked as a janitor. Richard moved to Sunnycrest Nursing Center in Dysart, Iowa in 2009, where he lived until his death. Richard was a member of the Gateway Club and the Salvation Army church in Waterloo, and a former member of Lions Club while in Conrad. Richard was very close to his family and loved to spend holidays with them. Richard enjoyed coloring pictures to decorate his room, animals, game shows, church, bowling, and cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes. He also enjoyed traveling the United States throughout his life. Richard will be missed by his closest cousins Kae (Roger) Santman, Dysart; Julie (Eric) Doyle, Lake City, MN; Sheri Perrotti, Scottsdale, AZ; Susan (Marvin) Reints, Ankeny, IA; David (Missy) Santman, Cedar Falls, IA, and other cousins in Iowa, Arizona, and Georgia He is preceded in death by his parents.
