| Description | : | Sailed from Liverpool on 22 February 1854 on the Windermere. The ship arrived at New Orleans on 24 April. They travelled up the Mississippi and Missouri to Kansas City and then over the plains with an ox team to Pleasant Grove, Utah. They left Utah in 1862 and came by ox team to Plattsmouth, NE. From there they went to Wisconsin and reached it in July 1862. They stayed there 11 months. They came to Lone Tree (Central City) in August 1863. He came to town to live in 1871.
