Richard is preceded in death by eight siblings and his son, Randy Richard Hecht . Richard proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church for over 50 years. Richard enjoyed tinkering and working on things around the house as well as building things. He also liked to read and play board games with his grandkids. Above all else Richard loved his family most of all. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Memorials may be made in Richard's name to the American Heart Association.
